OBITUARY

Message from our club President.

It’s with a heavy heart that I have to inform members and friends of the club that Charles Darley G4VSZ passed away Tuesday evening 10th August 2026. 

Charles has been an amazing member of the club over the last 4 decades, taking on many roles within the club including chairman in 2012 when I joined the club. He was very active in the training of many members at the club and wrote along with Bob and Nigel, the training material on our club website. He was also involved in many projects along the way, Charles particularly enjoyed taking part in the RTTY contests over the years. 

Charles will leave a massive hole within the club and will be sorely missed. My thoughts are with Jean and his daughters at this sad time.
