When you are a BRATS member you may take as short or long a time as you wish before taking your exam. The conditions are:

1. A practical assessment is no longer required. The ESRG and ESC will consider whether compatible practical tests may be reinstated.
2. You may self-study using the website and RSGB Foundation book, with tutor support available by email or at club nights.

You could take as little as a few weeks to pass your Foundation examination.
